If you are one of the approximately 250,000 Albertans who own an acreage, hobby farm or recreational property, you will benefit from attending this workshop. The presenter will teach you how to understand, assess and implement stewardship practices, and then help you begin to develop a stewardship plan for your property.
Learn what you can do to protect the valuable natural assets associated with your property, and ensure your acreage is well managed, productive and attractive. During the workshop we will cover:
- The fundamentals of stewardship and sustainability
- What it means to live on a rural property
- Setting goals and developing a plan for your property
- Identifying resources and understanding limitations
- Monitoring your progress
