The County provides waste management services on a user-pay system. The user-pay system attaches a value to the waste that is disposed of at transfer sites, CHUCKwagons, and at the curb for collection.

All fees & rates are set by the annual Master Rates Bylaw:

Tag-a-Bag Tickets

Tag-a-bag tickets are required to pay for the disposal of waste at County CHUCKwagon locations and transfer sites. Tickets can be purchased at the following locations:

If for any reason you need to pay for waste services but don't have tag-a-bag tickets on hand, the County provides a convenient I.O.U. envelope service. This service enables residents to proceed with their disposal without a ticket, and make a payment by mail. Please see an attendant to obtain a convenient I.O.U. envelope and instructions.
