Material Hauling

Location: Lott Creek Blvd. south of Highway 8 (view map)

Timeframe: February 14-24, 2017

Description: Earthwork haul as part of the Homes by AVI Subdivision Development. Haul is being done by Borger Construction. Signage will be present to assist with traffic. Motorists can expect minor delays. Inquiries can be directed to Leigh Wintrup of Borger Earthworks Ltd. at 403-305-0981 or 403-279-7235.

Site Access Restrictions to McKinnon Flats

Location: Access Road going down to McKinnon Flats recreational area at the south end of Range Road 274, south of Highway 22X (view map)

Timeframe: November 1 - April 15

Description: Road closed to motorized vehicles for the winter season. The Access Road is not an all-weather road and is not maintained during winter months. Inquiries can be directed to Rocky View County Road Operations at 403-520-7276.

Powerline Construction

Location: Intersection of Range Road 12 and Township Road 275 (view map)

Timeframe: January 24 - February 24, 2017

Description: B-Line Utilities, on behalf of Fortis, will be replacing the existing overhead power lines and power poles on Range Road 12 and Township Road 275. Work will involve single lane closures and speed reductions. Motorists can expect minimal delays. Inquires can be directed to John Miller of B-Line Utilities at 403-559-9711.

Southwest Calgary Ring Road Construction Project

Location: Southwest Calgary bordering Rocky View County (view map)

Timeframe: Early 2017 to Fall 2021

Description: No work on Rocky View County roads is expected at this time, however the impact on area Provincial Highways and City of Calgary roads bordering Rocky View County may impact residents of Rocky View County.
